 Ukraine calls on Russian troops to surrender their weapons

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has called on Russian troops to surrender their weapons.  He also promised that the lives of those who will respond to this proposal will be protected.

 On Friday, Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov gave a video speech to the Russian troops.  In the speech given in Russian, Reznikov said, "You can still save Russia from tragedy and the Russian army from humiliation."

Promising the protection and security of the lives of the Russian soldiers, he said, "We will provide protection and security of life to all those who withdraw from the war immediately."  They will get justice and those who are the masterminds of the crime, we will definitely bring them to justice.''

"It's very easy for them to say that if you die fighting against shadow NATO forces, it's a hero's death," Reznikov said, referring to the Kremlin's deception and betrayal of its own troops.  It is true that NATO countries are giving us weapons.  However, it is the Ukrainian army that is fighting with you with these weapons.
