Sanctions against Russia have backfired on Europe: Hungarian PM

The Western world, including the European Union, has imposed several sanctions on Russia due to the Russia-Ukraine war.  However, because of this ban, energy crisis has already occurred in Europe, and the price has also increased.  Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán criticized this decision of the European Union.  He said that sanctions against Russia have been reversed.  Due to this decision of the EU, the price of fuel has increased.

According to Al-Jazeera news, Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke to the country's parliament on the issue of rising fuel prices.At this time, he said, due to the crisis, there is nothing to be surprised about the collapse of governments in various countries in Europe.He said this in reference to the parliamentary elections held in Italy on Sunday.The election was organized after the resignation of Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi last July in the face of various economic challenges including inflation.Earlier, Boris Johnson had to leave the post of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom due to various allegations.

The Prime Minister of Hungary said in the Parliament that the war in neighboring Ukraine will be long-term.  Hungary should be ready for this.Much of Ukraine's infrastructure has been damaged by this war.  Thousands of people lost their lives.  Millions of people have been forced to leave their homes.

Russia's operation in Ukraine has been going on for seven months.  Due to this war and the sanctions imposed on Russia, the price of fuel has increased all over the world.The big shock of price increase has come in European countries as well.  Because, many European countries have great dependence on Russian oil and gas.
