Two workers died after falling from a building under construction in the capital

Two workers died after falling down while working on a multi-storey building under construction in West Agargaon of the capital.  The incident took place in the water tank area of ​​West Agargaon around 2.30 pm on Friday.

These two are Shahadat Hossain (23) and Md.  Rocon (32).  Both are construction workers.  Their village home is in Kazipur of Sirajganj.  Their bodies have been kept at Dhaka Medical College morgue for post-mortem.

 Kabir Hossain, a colleague of the two victims, told Prothom Alo that the two were working on the outside of a 14-storey building under construction by tying a loft and laying bricks.  They suddenly fell on the lower safety tin and got seriously injured.  They were rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 4:30 pm.  The doctors there said that both died.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost inspector Bachchu Mia told Prothom Alo that the incident has been reported to the concerned police station.  They will prepare a report on the condition of the body and take legal action.
