His biographical documentary 'Phoenix from the Ashes' was released yesterday.  Ben Stokes scored his first century as Test captain yesterday.  The England captain literally led England to save England under pressure by losing the previous day's two stable batsmen Jonny Bairstow and Jack Crawley in a 13-ball span on the ball of Henrik Norkier.

Foxes' century with Stokes, the duo's 173-run partnership for the sixth wicket, put England in a great position at Old Trafford.  England announced the first innings by scoring 415 runs for 9 wickets.  They were ahead of South Africa by 264 runs in the first innings.

South Africa went into bat in their second innings and ended the day's play with 23 runs for no wicket.  Sarel Ervoyer 12 and Dean Elgar are wickets with 11 runs.

Ben Folks also batted well.  He was unbeaten on 68 when Stokes returned after being dismissed by Rabadar, then had to bat with the tailenders.  Stuart Broad played an innings of 21 runs off 14 balls.  After 41 runs with Broad, Folks made another partnership of 34 runs with Ollie Robinson.  He got his second career century off 206 balls.  He was unbeaten on 113 runs off 217 balls when the innings was announced.
